Job Position - Asst Manager / Sr. Exec. - Purchase

Job Location - Dadar (W), Mumbai

Salary -  Suitable hike on current salary 

Job Description -

  1. Taking care of capital procurement and Major Contracts Like Elevators, DG Sets, RO Plants, Softening Plants, HVAC System, VRV System, Window Sections, Sports & Fitness Equipment, Security control Systems, MDU Solutions for Building, Data connectivity system for building, Electrical Motors, Panels and Switchgears etc.
  2. Verification with Planning Department Regarding BOQ and Other Technical Details before Placing Order.
  3. Maintaining/checking validation & valuation of Rate Contracts.
  4. Periodical inspection of store stock for checking reordering level. Verification of physical & consumption report of stocks provided by store.
  5. Sourcing for vendor, Checking Credentials of Vendors, vendors management, vendor elation & records.
  6. Preparation & floating RFQs for capital goods & turnkey tenders.
  7. Evaluation, validation of RFQs, comparison & negotiations.
  8. Sourcing of alternative products available at better price with faster delivery. Sourcing for best options in terms of cost & quality Indian as well as overseas market).
  9. Co-ordination with local fabricators for getting some of the items fabricated (Value engineering) in order to reduce cost without compromising with quality.
  10. Issue of Purchase orders, Job Orders, LOI & work schedules for contracts.
  11. Coordination with the Accounts, to ensure timely payment as per agreed terms with suppliers.
  12. Negotiation with vendors to save the cost of company in any type of purchase.
  13. To follow-up with vendors, transporter for timely delivery of materials to the respective site.
  14. Maintaining vendors list according the material.
  15. Visiting all sites for internal auditing of stores & purchase department.
